Dr. Makayed is well versed in diagnosing and managing eye-related conditions. She also enjoys educating her patients about their eyes to empower them to make the best decisions, maximize their vision and eye health through all the stages of life.
A strong believer in the whole body approach, Dr. Makayed is constantly learning about nutritional health, intensive dietary management, and factors contributing to the promotion and maintenance of health (salutogenesis). In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, motorcycle rides, cooking for and spending time with pets, friends, and family.
